We are devoted to breeding healthy & happy Doodles.

At Little Acre Doodles, our puppies come from completely health tested parents and are bred with health, confirmation, and temperament in mind. We focus on raising healthy, socialized puppies with exceptional temperaments. We also like to prioritize quality nutrition and supplements that help our puppies develop into strong, healthy dogs from the day they are born.

The puppies are loved as a part of our family. We raise our puppies with the Bad Ass Breeder curriculum and puppy culture using ENS (early neurological stimulation) and early socialization. All puppies are raised inside our home.

HEALTH TESTING

Our puppies come from health-tested parents to ensure optimal health and a focus on longevity.

PERSONALIZED CARE

Raised in our home alongside family, each puppy receives individualized care and love from day one.

ENS & SOCIALIZATION

We utilize Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and early socialization to nurture well-adjusted, confident puppies.

What is Early Scent Introduction?

ESI is a fun and easy way to expose newborn puppies (3-16 days old) to different smells, helping them develop a strong sense of smell early on. Since dogs experience the world mostly through their noses, this early training can make them more confident, curious, & better at scent-related tasks (like tracking or detection work).

How It Works:

Imagine giving a baby different foods to try—the more flavors they experience early, the less picky they are later. ESI does the same thing but with smells! By introducing new scents in their first weeks, we "wake up" their noses and brains, making them more adaptable and better at smelling things as adult dogs.

Puppies will be exposed to 1 new scent once each day during days 3-16. This is done along with Early Neurological Stimulation. Scents related to eating are not allowed.

Key Benefits of ESI for Newborn Puppies:

Results observed from dogs that have undergone ESI are:

  1. Excellent performance as Search & Rescue and Detection dogs.

  2. Confidence in every sport involving scenting, from nose work to barn hunt.

  3. Improved confidence and stability in pet and service dogs.

  4. More optimistic attitude toward life.

  5. Fewer behavioral problems.

What is Early Neurological Stimulation?

ENS is a set of gentle exercises done with newborn puppies (3-16 days old) to give their developing brains/bodies a little "boost." These exercises involve mild stresses—like briefly holding them in different positions or exposing them to small temp changes—to help them grow up calmer, confident, and better at handling stress later in life.

Why does it work

These exercises impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected, the result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance.

Key Benefits of ENS for Newborn Puppies:

  1. Improves cardiovascular performance.

  2. Produces stronger heart beats.

  3. Produces stronger adrenal glands.

  4. Gives puppies more tolerance to stress.

  5. Gives puppies greater resistance to disease.
